Assignment
Due Monday, July 14th 9am.
1.
Work with your team and in pairs
2.
Each pair will produce one video
3.
The final video will be approximately two
minutes
4.
Choose an interview subject
5.
Shoot A-roll for the main interview
6.
Shoot B-roll to illustrate the story
7.
Use an establishing shot – perhaps a shot of the
location or place.
8.
Make the story dynamic and engaging
Criteria
1.
Clear, well-lit shots using a tripod
2.
Creative and inventive use of B-roll
3.
Have you captured the sense of the person, what
he/she does, the world they live in
4.
Is the final video engaging, dramatic, exciting
5.
Does the video make sense
Do not use any copyrighted music. Cuts only editing.
Use 2 lines of text only for subtitles. Center the text and use a large enough font
size to be read.
